Douglas Hurd: Bosnia, PM bid and advice to Cameron

Douglas Hurd served as foreign secretary in the 1990s when there was war in the former Yugoslavia and the Conservative Party was divided over Europe.

For the Life in Politics series, he spoke to Jo Coburn about his failed bid to lead his party and the country, advice to David Cameron over his education, and the decisions he took as foreign secretary.

Now Baron Hurd of Westwell, he reflected on his career in government and discussed current attitudes towards the EU.
