Pod of dolphins join Scottish lifeboat training

A large pod of dolphins joined a lifeboat training exercise just off Girvan Harbour.

Just after Girvan lifeboat left the harbour in South Ayrshire, the large pod showed up and followed the boat.

"This is the first time we have seen such a large pod so close inshore and not too far from the pier end, it was fantastic to see," said one of the crew members.
