First minister says his thoughts are with Kate
First Minister Humza Yousaf has said he was "deeply saddened" to hear about the Duchess of Rothesay's cancer diagnosis.
He said it was "a really difficult moment" for anybody to learn then face cancer treatment and his thoughts were with the royal family.
He was speaking after Catherine released a video message on Friday night, informing the public she was in the early stages of receiving chemotherapy for cancer.
She described the news as a "huge shock" after an "incredibly tough couple of months".
