Wick schools merger plan approved by Highland Council

  • Published

Highland Council's education committee has approved plans to amalgamate schools in Wick.

The local authority is to merge Hillhead and North primary schools on the North primary site.

South and Pulteneytown primaries are to be merged on a new campus for three to 18-year-olds at Wick High School.

Hillhead Parents' Council is considering appealing against its school's merger, claiming the proposal lacks detail.
