A man has been charged in connection with the death of a fox at an Aberdeen golf club.

Officers from Grampian Police were called to Peterculter Golf Club last Friday afternoon following reports of the animal being badly injured.

However, the injured fox had to be put down.

A force spokesperson said a 55-year-old man had been charged in connection with the incident. A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal.
