Singer Charlotte Church has joined protestors in Cardiff to demonstrate against Chancellor George Osborne's first Conservative Budget.

Cardiff People's Assembly said several hundred people gathered on the lawn outside Castle castle.

Meanwhile, about 20 people took part in an anti-austerity rally in Aberystwyth.

George Osborne has unveiled plans for £12bn of welfare cuts in his Budget.
