Pontypridd lido opens for Boxing Day dippers

The National Lido of Wales in Pontypridd opened for the second Boxing Day running.

More than 700 swimmers booked to attend the heated Lido Ponty - 200 more than last year.

Rhondda Cynon Taf council said one family was even travelling from Leeds, Yorkshire, to take part.
