Helping 'abandoned' seals could harm them, warns expert

There has been a surge in seal pup rescues as more people visit beaches during the Covid pandemic, according to a marine conservationist.

Frankie Hobro, who owns and runs Anglesey Sea Zoo, said seal pups were being taken by people who mistakenly think they are abandoned.

Others have been attacked by dogs walking on the beach.

Noel and Ranger were looked after by staff at Anglesey Zoo.
