WhatsApp: Welsh scam victims left thousands of pounds poorer

A WhatsApp scam victim has warned: “You don’t realise how vulnerable you can be.”

Sarah Capper, from Rhyl, Denbighshire, lost thousands of pounds to fraudsters last month.

She sent £2,100 to someone posing as her daughter.

“I would have swore blind that I was talking to my daughter,” Ms Capper said.
