Man charged over Wrexham hit and run

A man has been arrested and charged in relation to a hit and run in Wrexham.
A pedestrian was seriously hurt in the incident outside the Co-op shop on the town's Poplar Road at about 17:15 GMT on Wednesday.
North Wales Police said: "The injured party who was knocked over is still in Stoke Hospital and has regained consciousness."
The force said the arrested man was charged with "numerous serious motoring offences" and was remanded in custody.
It could not confirm what the charges were.
