Woman dies, two injured in Conwy county crash

A woman has died and two men have been seriously injured after a crash near a village in Conwy county.

Police are investigating after a silver Renault Clio and a black Mercedes SLK collided on the A543 near Pentrefoelas just before 15:45 GMT on Saturday.

The female passenger from the Mercedes - who was in her forties - died.

The two drivers - one in his 20s and the other in his 40s - were taken to hospital in Stoke-on-Trent with life-changing injuries.

North Wales Police is appealing for witnesses.
