North Wales Police inquiry after Taser man injured

A man has been left with serious head injuries after being Tasered by police in Conwy county.
Officers were called to Bryniau Road in Llandudno at 22:15 BST on Wednesday, after reports a local man had a knife.
North Wales Police confirmed it has referred itself to the police watchdog after a Taser gun was discharged and the individual fell "sustaining a head injury".
The man was transferred to hospital in Stoke during the night.
Following the incident, a police spokesman said the man was treated by officers and paramedics at the scene and taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor.
"Unfortunately his condition deteriorated during the night and he is currently being treated in hospital in Stoke," the spokesman added.
"North Wales Police have voluntarily referred the incident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission."
