The gravity-defying stunt penguins made from cake

A Beverley cake designer has delighted passers-by with a gravity-defying Christmas window display.

Grace Hunt created the "daring" penguin cake at her shop on North Bar Without in just five days and built the display while completing her existing orders.

She showed off the cake to local residents on Friday evening with a special unveiling, which she has held annually since 2020.

The baker said the cake features "six cheeky penguins", including one on a ladder trying to catch a snowflake, and a cake igloo complete with baby penguins inside.
