RAF birthday flypast over WW2 veteran's home
The RAF carried out a special flypast for of one their World War Two veterans, buzzing the skies over his bungalow to celebrate his 103rd birthday.
John Martin, who lives in Tanygroes, Ceredigion, was a wireless radio operator on Lancaster bombers during the war.
He escaped from a burning aircraft over the skies of Berlin on 30 January 1944 during an attack on the German capital.
RAF Valley on Anglesey sent two hawk jet aircraft to do a flypast at 11:00 BST on Monday.
