Trump's Canada 51st state plan 'is not a joke', says Foreign Minister

During an interview with the BBC's Newsnight, Canada's Foreign Minister Mélanie Joly said that she takes Trump's remarks on making Canada the 51st state of his country "very seriously". She also said that "this is not a joke anymore". Her response comes after Trump's tariffs on Canada and Mexico were implemented on 4 March with Canadian energy facing a 10% tariff.
