House renovation for boy with life-limiting condition

Otis is three years old with a rare condition called Miller-Dieker lissencephaly, a life-limiting ailment which affects fewer than one in 100,000.

Otis' parents, Alex and Jess O'Neill, put out an appeal to renovate their Whitley Bay home in order to meet their son's complex medical needs.

With the help of close friends and members of the community, work has now begun.
