Watch: Former shoe factory's chimney knocked down

Video captured the moment the last remaining structure of a derelict shoe factory was demolished.

Van-Dal in Dibden Road, Norwich was closed in 2018 and a fire destroyed up to 75% of the building in January.

Footage showed the factory's chimney being knocked down, and Lee Storer from Anglian Demolition said it was "vital" it fell in the correct direction to avoid debris escaping.

The site is owned by Flagship Homes, which plans to redevelop the area into residential housing.
