Ruth Jones feels Gavin and Stacey 'really exist'

Ahead of the final episode of Gavin and Stacey, Ruth Jones says she and co-writer James Corden feel like their characters really do exist.

"James and I have always felt - I know it sounds a bit strange - that they really do exist. So it's not like they're dying," Jones told Zoe Ball on Radio 2.

"For us they're carrying on living their lives in Barry, or in Billericay. It's just that we're not party to what goes on in their life anymore."

The final episode will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.
