‘A good job’ - Residents react to election news
People in Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, were pleased to hear there would be a general election taking place in July.
Reacting shortly after the announcement from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, they said health and the cost of living were top priorities for people in Wales.
“Everybody’s been clamouring to get a general election pretty soon and I think it’s a good job he’s finally called one,” says Matt Davies, 49.
