More than 100 firefighters tackle town centre blaze

A huge fire broke out in Abergavenny town centre on Sunday night, destroying businesses and forcing people out of their homes.

More than 100 firefighters were called to the scene of the blaze on Frogmore Street in the Monmouthshire town.

Buildings including the Magic Cottage charity shop have been destroyed and a wide cordon remains in place, but no injuries were reported.
