'Part of him lives on', says organ donor's partner

The partner of a man whose organs were donated to four different people after he died in an accident says his death was not in vain.

Macauley Owen, a groundworks engineer from Anglesey, died in hospital aged 26 after he was hit on the head by the rear gate of a tractor trailer.

His partner, 43-year-old Delyth Owen, said "part of him still lives on somewhere, in somebody".

One patient who wrote to thank Macauley for saving her life said in a letter that people like him were "the most inspiring people in the world".
