SNP should be in TV leader debates, says Swinney

Campaigning for the general election on 4 July is well under way for the SNP and its recently elected leader, John Swinney. Speaking to the BBC's political editor Chris Mason, Mr Swinney reiterated that his party was determined to hold a second independence referendum. He said the SNP was aiming to remain the third-largest party in the House of Commons, fighting off a challenge from the Liberal Democrats.
