Gosling released after fishing line rescue

A gosling had a lucky escape after becoming tangled in fishing wire in Cleethorpes.

Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue managed to find the baby bird and try to release it - but unfortunately it had ingested some of the wire.

After a trip to Clee Vets and the The Veterinary Hospital in Lincoln, the gosling was released unharmed.

Posting the video on Facebook, the rescue said they'd seen some "horrific injuries" from fishing lines and that "all continues to be going well with this family" after the release.
