Badger rescued from water-filled barrel

A badger rescued from a water-filled barrel has been released back into the wild.

Cleethorpes Wildlife Rescue said the stricken badger, named Magnum, was discovered last month after screaming was heard by staff at a nearby care home in Waltham.

Since the incident, Magnum has spent time recuperating under the watchful eye of the Lincolnshire Badger Group.
