'We have to help her win': AOC gives Harris backing at DNC

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, also known as AOC, has given her vocal backing to Kamala Harris as the party's candidate for president.

Ocasio-Cortez, a progressive Democratic lawmaker who is part of the so-called "Squad", was initially hesitant to support the idea of President Joe Biden stepping aside as presidential nominee.

But speaking at the Democratic National Convention on Monday night, she told the crowd: "We have to help her win."
