Living my Paralympic dream after switching sports
Scottish athlete Kayleigh Haggo pursued her dream of being a Paralympian despite her chosen sport being dropped from the Paris 2024 schedule.
The 25-year-old, from Ayrshire, had held several world records in frame running but switched to boccia which she had never played before.
The sport involves athletes throwing, kicking or using a ramp to propel a ball onto the court with the aim of getting closest to a jack ball.
Despite being a relative newcomer to the game, Kayleigh says she is looking forward to showing what she can do when she goes to the Paris Paralympic Games.
