Runner with Down's syndrome dances through marathon

A runner with Down's syndrome has won over a swathe of new fans after dancing his way through the New York Marathon.

It is only the second marathon for Lloyd Martin, 20, whose family is from Cardiff, after he became youngest person in his learning disability category to complete one in London earlier this year.

"I'm so unbelievably proud," said his mum, Ceri Hooper, who joked that she could not "tear Lloyd away" from any music that they passed along the route.

"Other runners were stopping and dancing with him. It was quite infectious," she said.
