The BBC's Nada Tawfik reports on how the Jamaican Red Cross plans to aide in recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.

The storm made landfall on Tuesday as a category five hurricane. Thousands of people remain without power. Melissa was the strongest storm to hit the country, with sustained winds of 185mph (298kph).
