Trail of flames on A-road after car catches fire

Video showed flaming debris strewn along an A-road and a car ablaze on the hard shoulder.

A section of the A12 in Essex was closed after the vehicle caught fire, which resulted in a diesel spillage.

National Highways said northbound traffic between junction 18 at Danbury and junction 19 at the Boreham Interchange had been halted and the section closed.
