Hurricane Francine made landfall in Louisiana Wednesday afternoon, quickly flooding cities along the Gulf Coast.
The National Hurricane Service said that Francine was "producing life-threatening storm surge, hurricane-force winds, and heavy rains across southern Louisiana."
It advised those experiencing the hurricane to stay inside, away from windows and recommended using several ways to receive warnings.
