Toxic foam covers sacred Yamuna river in India

Toxic foam has covered part of one of India's sacred rivers, making it look like a giant bubble bath.

Video shows Hindu devotees bathing in the Yamuna river surrounded by polluted clouds. One said it was "a ritual" to bathe in the waters and that even though it was "extremely dirty" they were left with no choice.

The devotees are marking the Chhath Puja religious festival.
