Plans for more plastic recycling bins in Guernsey

Additional plastic recycling facilities could be introduced in public areas and at sports clubs around Guernsey.

The Public Services Department is considering whether to spend £15,000 on the initiative but wants to make sure it offers good value for money first.

If approved recycling bins would be installed at sports facilities such as Footes Lane and at football clubs.

They would also be installed in other community areas including near St Peter's post office.
