Guernsey Post has released a series of stamps celebrating 150 years of the Royal Channel Islands Yacht Club.

Dawn Gallienne, head of philately, said the stamps aimed to "capture the dynamism of the sport, as well as the camaraderie among crew members."

The six stamps were designed by Guernsey company The Potting Shed, using photographs of racing yachts in action off the Bailiwick's coasts.

The stamps have gone on sale and are priced from 39-74p.
