Flights are cancelled at Jersey Airport because of fog

A number of early flights from Jersey to London and Southampton were cancelled in the early hours.

Thick fog on Wednesday meant the aircraft did not arrive in Jersey.

The poor weather conditions meant that at one point on Wednesday all flights were either delayed or on hold.

A Jersey Airport spokesman said passengers due to travel on the cancelled flights should contact their airline directly to re-book an alternative flight.
