A teenager in America has created a new way to test for types of cancer - by using the web search engine Google.

15-year-old Jack Andraka's method is 168 times faster and a lot cheaper than the best current way of testing for the diseases.

He used internet search engines and free online science papers to help him come up with the idea.

The high school student won $75,000 (£47,000) at a science fair in May for his invention.
