The boy who's friends with monkeys

A two-year-old boy in India has become the talk of his village after making friends with a group of monkeys.

Samarth's unusual friendship was discovered when he was found playing on his own with more than 20 grey langur monkeys.

Villagers were first worried that Samarth was going to be hurt by the monkeys but then noticed that he was okay and they were enjoying each others company.

Samarth's uncle says that the monkeys now visit him every day and sit with him for an hour or two.

The monkeys don't like being around other children in the village though, which has led local people there to believe that Samarth must have a special bond with the monkeys.
