The new Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa, was revealed as the 15th version of the character on Saturday.

If you've not seen Saturday's special episode, called The Giggle, then this is your spoiler warning!

The third of three Doctor Who 60th anniversary specials, the episode showed the 14th Doctor, David Tennant having a strange regeneration, where his body split in two.

One version remained as the 14th Doctor and the other became the 15th Doctor played by Ncuti Gatwa.

David Tennant's Doctor decided to have a rest and stayed with his travelling companion Donna on Earth, while Ncuti Gatwa's Doctor left in the TARDIS for his own adventures in time and space.

Now officially the new Doctor, Ncuti Gatwa is the first black actor to play the character for a full series and his first full episode, called 'The Church on Ruby Road', will be shown on BBC One on Christmas Day.

Ahead of the Christmas episode, Newsround would like to put your questions to Ncuti for him to answer. You can let us know what you'd like to ask the new Doctor in the comments below.

In November we took two Newsround press packers to meet series writer and Doctor Who boss, Russell T Davies - you can watch their report here:
