He said he wanted to share "songs which have brought me joy".
Artists include Davido, Raye, and Kylie Minogue, and the types of music he chose included disco and Afrobeat songs.
What type of music do you like, and do you share any favourite artists with the King?
Maybe you have more music taste in common with other royals though - Prince William has previously said he like "a bit of everything" including bands like Coldplay and Linkin Park, and he took Prince George and Princess Charlotte to see Taylor Swift in concert.

Grace Jones, Bob Marley and Kylie Minogue are all on the King's playlist
Commonwealth Day is on 10 March and celebrates the countries that make up the Commonwealth.
It's a collection of nations that have King Charles as their head of state.
His playlist takes songs from all over the Commonwealth, and ranges from the 1930s to more modern bangers.
It'll launch on Apple Music at 6am on Monday 10 March.

What do you enjoy listening to?
King Charles said: "Throughout my life, music has meant a great deal to me. I know that is also the case for so many others.
"It has that remarkable ability to bring happy memories flooding back from the deepest recesses of our memory, to comfort us in times of sadness, and to take us to distant places.
"But perhaps, above all, it can lift our spirits to such a degree, and all the more so when it brings us together in celebration. In other words, it brings us joy."
