First up the remaining trio were tasked with making finger buns for the signature bake.

A simple classic was transformed by the bakers with Aaron pairing yuzu and pear, Tom making some hotdog-style buns and Jasmine using apricot and white chocolate as one of her flavours.

Tom had a mix-up with one of the ingredients and was criticised by Paul Hollywood, while Aaron's bread was described as a little 'tough'.

Next was a tower of Madeline cakes for the technical challenge.

The small French cakes were stuffed with lemon curd and covered in pink chocolate.

Jasmine came last in this challenge with Tom getting to the top.

Finally, for the final showstopper, the judges asked for an 'elegant and sophisticated' centrepiece cake - at1.2 metres high the largest cake in Bake Off history.

And the winner of The Great British Bake Off 2025 was... Jasmine!

With a total of five out of nine star bakers across the series, Jasmine was a favourite to win, but in the end it was a close call between her and Tom who also produced a stunning showstopper.

After she was announced as the winner the medical student said she was "overjoyed".

"When I was in the middle of exams and trying to bake and trying to learn all my stuff, it's been so much, but I've done it, and I'm so unbelievably happy," she said.

Judge Prue Leigh said:

"The thing about Jasmine is that she has been steady all the way through, almost unheard of to be so consistent and so good."
