1. Maple Syrup in his coffee

Most people add milk or sugar to their morning coffee - but not Haaland.
In his vlog he reveals that instead he uses maple syrup.
Yes, we are thinking about that time in Elf when he puts it all over spaghetti for his breakfast.
Maybe Haaland is onto something? He says it helps him start the morning feeling strong.
Hey it might be an odd combo, but if it works for one of the best strikers in the world who are we to question it?
2. He is actually a great cook

A lot of pro-footballers hire chefs to help them cook the best food to fuel their performance.
But not Haaland.
In this first video we see him prepare a breakfast of fried eggs on fresh bread, and use his cooking skills to cook a big steak on the bbq.
"I've been living alone since I was 16, so I have to cook," he says.
3. Red light therapy for recovery

Haaland lives in the Cheshire countryside, an easy commute from Manchester City's training ground and stadium.
But, this does mean a lack of sunshine - something Haaland shows us his solution for.
He says red light therapy gives him extra vitamin D and helps his muscles recover.
Sitting in front of a wall of tiny red lights might sound strange, but he says it's essential to keep his energy up for all those goals.
4. Raw milk from a local farm

Do you like blue, green or red top milk?
Well, forget supermarket milk Haaland gets his milk straight from a farm.
And he opts for raw milk which is completely unprocessed.
He believes natural ingredients help him stay strong and healthy.
5. Post training ice baths and a garden sauna

And, on the topic of staying strong and healthy, Haaland has another routine to help his body recover.
After training, Haaland takes ice baths to cool down his muscles.
Haaland says "It's good for the mind. You're achieving something you don't want to do".
He sometimes follows this with a relaxing and warming session in his garden sauna.

But why is he sharing all this?
His video titled 'Day in the lift of a pro footballer' is about showing the hard work and healthy habits that allow him to stay on top.
So, would you try an ice bath like Haaland? Does a maple syrup drink sound strange? Let us know!
