Haaland quiz: Star striker signs huge deal at Man City

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has signed the longest contract in Premier League history, keeping him at the club until 2034.

The nine-and-a-half year deal will see Haaland remain at the club into his mid-thirties.

His previous contract had been due to expire in 2027.

Since joining Manchester City in 2022, Haaland has scored over 100 goals, won two Premier League titles and the Champions League in that time. Including during a historic treble win with City in his first season.

In a video released by City announcing the news, Haaland apologised to all the teams he'll continue to play against for quite a while longer: "All I have to say is, I'm sorry, I'm here to stay."
