Things were up in the air in the Ireland v England match

It's been a huge weekend of sport thanks to the return of the Six Nations.

The biggest rugby tournament in the northern hemisphere takes place every year between the top rugby union-playing countries in Europe.

It was great news for Ireland who won 27-22 against England, despite being behind after the first half.

Scotland also had a fantastic game, winning 31-19 against Italy.

It was bad news for Wales - who lost 43-0 against France in their opening match of the tournament.

Ireland v England

England were beaten 27-22 by the back-to-back champions in Dublin.

That means they've lost seven times in their last nine matches.

England led the match 10-5 at halftime, but Ireland came back to claim the win and a bonus point, as they won on home soil.

Ireland are hoping to win three Six Nations titles in a row - which has never been done before.

England could have a tricky time ahead, as they will face France and Scotland in their next matches.

It was a tough match for Wales

France v Wales

Wales lost 43-0 to France in Paris.

It's the first time Wales haven't scored a point in a Six Nations match.

Wales coach Warren Gatland said the players would "learn from the experience".

They'll face Italy in Rome in the second round of the tournament.
