The glitter, the dancing, and the drama have begun on this year's Strictly Come Dancing- and already one couple has had to say goodbye.

In the second live show of the series, 15 couples took to the floor to fight for their place in the competition.

This week was the first week of public voting, AND the first week a couple left the show.

Scores from each of the couples' dances last week were added to this week's scores and public votes and, for the two couples with the lowest score, that meant facing the dreaded Strictly dance-off to decide their fate.

Read on to find out who was the first couple to leave the show.

Bottom of the leader board was Thomas Skinner and his partner Amy Dowden, and Chris Robshaw and Nadiya Bychkova.

Thomas and Amy performed their salsa, which Chris and Nadiya performed their Viennese waltz.

After both couples danced again, the judges decided to save save Chris and Nadiya, which meant Thomas and Amy were out.

Thomas described his time on the show as great fun

Speaking about his time on the show Thomas said: "I've loved it. I've never danced before and my stay was short, but Amy is amazing.

"It's been great fun and I've enjoyed it. I can't really dance that well but I've had fun!"

While Thomas and Amy are out of the competition, the show goes on.

The remaining 14 couples will take to the dance floor next week in a Movie Week special.
