Will the real Dr Who please stand up?

Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa has revealed his new waxwork figure at Madame Tussauds in London.

Madame Tussauds is a museum which makes ultra-realistic wax figures of celebrities that people can visit and take pictures with, from world leaders, to movie stars, popstars and even the Royal Family.

Ncuti worked with artists from Madame Tussauds to get his body measurements, head shape and eye colour correct, before giving his final approval in May.

"Oh God. It's the teeth. The teeth are so accurate," Gatwa giggled as he studied the statue.

Guests to the museum will be able to pose alongside The Doctor and the TARDIS in the new film and TV zone

The waxwork shows Ncuti dressed in one of his outfits from the new Doctor Who series, which features in the first episode Space Babies.

However, this is not Madame Tussauds' first brush with the Time Lord.

The fourth Doctor, played by Tom Baker, was the first to be recreated in wax, followed by Jodie Whittaker, who played the 13th incarnation of the Doctor, and the first woman to do so.

Ncuti's waxwork figure will join a new film and TV-themed zone at the museum, which will have waxworks of James Bond, the alien E.T. and Millie Bobby Brown's Enola Holmes.

The new zone featuring the 15th Doctor's waxwork will be open for the public to from Friday.

What do you think of the new figure? Can you tell the difference?
