If you caught a glimpse of the Moon last night you might have noticed it looked a lot brighter than usual.
That's because it was a supermoon - the first of the year.
The Harvest Moon, the first supermoon of 2025 has been lighting up the night sky across the world.
A supermoon happens when the Moon is closest to Earth and so looks brighter and fuller than normal.
The Harvest Moon is the name given to the full Moon that rises closest to the autumn equinox, this is traditionally a time for gathering crops.
