Experts think this Hulk toy will be a smash at an auction

How much you value a toy will probably be different to how one of your friends or siblings would value it.

If it is your favourite toy for example, then maybe it would have a high sentimental value to you - that means it is special to you rather than the value coming from its cost.

Some toys might not be that expensive to buy in the first place, but then in the future their physical value can increase, often this is because they stopped being made and there weren't that many produced in the first place.

It is nearly impossible to say what toys will be worth the most money in the future, but experts are pretty sure one particular Hulk figure is going be a smash when it goes to auction soon.

The Marvel Hulk stretch toy was made in 1979 and there are only 30 of them still known to exist.

The person selling this one is the only person to have owned it, meaning they have had it for more than 45 years.

It still has its original packaging and instructions - this is something that often boosts a toy's value when it is being bought by a collector.

Even better if a toy has never been opened in the first place - but where's the fun in that?

Experts say it is "one of the rarest stretch toys in existence".

That will be why they expect it to sell for up to £5,000.

If you think that's a lot for a toy, get a load of this - one Star Wars action figure sold for a whopping £1.04 million.

Then again, I don't think this Hulk can be too angry, that is the most expensive toy ever sold at an auction.

The stretch Hulk figure is due to be sold on July 26.
