Snap, camera, POP! Photos capture music's best moments of 2025

From flashing lights to epic stage dives, the coolest moments in the world of music during 2025 have been frozen in time – all thanks to some amazing photography.
The world famous Abbey Road Studios has picked a selection of images for the Music Photography Awards, choosing from over 20,000 entries sent in from all around the world.
Snaps of stars like Chappell Roan and Doja Cat are up for awards.
Fans can vote for the Music Moment of the Year until 23 September and the winners will be announced at a big awards show at Abbey Road Studios in London on 2 October.
Mark Robertson, Abbey Road's director of marketing and creative, said the images "prove that music photography is a genuine art to be celebrated and plays a vital role in shaping culture."

Photographer Josh Druding's image of Chappell Roan wearing a pink leotard emblazoned with stars, and a super hero mask is up for Music Moment of the Year.
The image is taken from her performance during the Lollapalooza festival in Chicago, in the US, last summer.

The awards include two new categories this year - Portrait and Festivals.
Nominated in the Festivals category, photographer Thomas Ranner took this photo of a man being thrown above the crowd at the Nova Rock festival in Austria.

In the Live Music category, photographer Greg Noire snapped this image of US rapper and singer Doja Cat.
The artist is seen here performing on stage with her dancers in eye-catching furry costumes.

In another photo nominated in the Music Moment of the Year category, this atmospheric shot shows Burna Boy performing to a packed London Stadium.

Photographer Jez Pennington took this photo of Rou Reynolds from British rock band Enter Shikari at Download Festival in the UK.
We're not sure the mud will come out of those white trousers in the wash!

Music producer and songwriter Benny Blanco has been snapped here mid-mouthful while having some dinner. Looks like he's certainly eating his green vegetables!

Nothing's more important than your hand and plectrum if you're a guitar player!
