Should plastic toys be given in party bags?

Cake, friends, fun, and party bags...what is not to love about going to a birthday party?
Maybe you remember a friend's celebration, but do you remember what you got in your party bag?
They are often a highlight at the end of the party, filled with cake, sweets and toys like bubbles, bouncy balls or fidgets.
One mum from Kendal in Cumbria has started a pact for people to sign up to, to make party bag gifts more sustainable by not including plastic toys and gifts.
Instead she suggests ideas like giving books, seeds or homemade gifts.
We want to know what you think about this idea. Should plastic toys be included in party bags or not? Vote in our poll and let us know your opinion in the comments.
Charlotte Mason-Curl told Newsround that she thinks parties can create a lot of waste, which is why she is suggesting alternatives to plastic party favours.
She said: "Small changes like this make a big difference for the planet, while keeping birthdays full of joy."

The Kids Party Pact
Charlotte Mason-Curl has set up a pledge which parents can join.
It has three main parts:
agreeing not to give plastic-filled party bags
to give secondhand, homemade or experience gifts (or none)
to issue guidance on greener gifts for their own children
Parents are able to sign up for the whole pledge, or whichever parts appeal to them.

One of Charlotte's ideas for a more sustainable party bag is sharing second hand books instead
