Hayley goes on toad patrol

Every year thousands of toads get killed while they try to cross busy areas to return to their home ponds.

After their hibernation period comes to an end, they head to their ponds as that's where they go to breed.

But it can involve crossing busy roads and each year around 200,000 toads many don't make it.

Hayley's been out with a toad patrol who are helping the animals make their journey safely.
