Gannet cam reveals life from a bird's eye point of view

Miniature video cameras attached to seabirds have revealed life from a gannet's point of view.

The birds spend a lot of time at sea making them difficult to study.

Scientists at the University of Exeter and the RSPB fixed lightweight cameras to the birds to learn more about their behaviour.

They footage shows the gannets taking dramatic high-speed dives to catch fish off the Pembrokeshire coast in Wales.

Conservationists hope the video could help us to learn more about marine species.
